how native blood started
This project is very personal to me. As a “mexican-american/chicano” person who grew up struggling with their identity and place in the world, it took me a long time to figure out who I was and how to accept myself. Western society has largely mislabeled millions of indigenous/native people as spanish/latino/hispanic or even white to erase the thing that makes us different. Our indigenous roots. Spanish has been indigenized which means when you think of Spanish you think of a brown person. This brand is for the mislabeled Latinos, Hispanics, Spanish, and Mestizos who want to reclaim what’s theirs. That which comes from our ancestors, which makes us different. Our Native Blood! 🩸🪶
